Cookie Policy

Effective: July 1, 2026Last updated: September 6, 2026

1. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies — browser local storage, IndexedDB, and mobile push tokens — that serve a comparable purpose. Together, these technologies help us recognize your browser or device, keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the Platform is used. ("Cookies" below is used loosely to cover both cookies and these similar technologies.)

Cookies can be first-party (set by the site you are visiting) or third-party (set by a different domain). Servibridge uses first-party technologies for core functionality, plus a small number of provider technologies listed below. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

2. Technologies We Use

Strictly necessary

Essential for the Platform to function — they keep you signed in and remember your saved consent choice. These cannot be turned off through our cookie banner because the Platform cannot operate without them; you can block them in your browser, but signing in and other core features will stop working.

Functional

Remember your preferences, or preserve a valid referral code while you complete registration, to provide a more personalized experience. Disabling these does not break core functionality but may reset your preferences on each visit.

Analytics (consent-based, off by default)

Help us understand how visitors use the Platform so we can improve performance, navigation, and features. We currently use PostHog for this purpose.

PostHog only loads after you accept cookies in our consent banner. If you decline, it remains inactive and no analytics data is collected. Data collected is used in aggregate and, where feasible, de-identified form; we do not use it to build cross-site advertising profiles.

Payment and identity verification (Stripe)

Set by Stripe, on Stripe's own domains, only when you proceed to Stripe's secure hosted checkout or billing portal (for subscriptions or wallet top-ups). No Stripe script runs on this website. They are required for secure payment processing and fraud prevention. The same applies to Stripe Identity's hosted verification flow, which Professionals on paid plans use to confirm their identity.

Marketing / advertising

We do not use third-party advertising or marketing cookies (for example, ad-retargeting pixels). If we introduce them in the future, we will update this Cookie Policy and request your consent before any such cookie is set.

3. Managing Your Cookie Preferences

When you first visit Servibridge, a cookie-consent banner lets you Accept or Decline non-essential cookies; your choice is stored and applied immediately (for example, accepting activates PostHog analytics, and declining keeps it inactive). You can review our Privacy Policy at any time from the banner or the site footer.

Most web browsers also let you view, block, or delete cookies through their settings. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in or using core features of the Platform. Instructions for popular browsers:

4. Third-Party Cookies and SDKs

Some cookies and similar technologies on the Platform are set by service providers we use, each governed by its own privacy and cookie practices:

ProviderPurpose
StripePayment processing and fraud prevention for subscriptions and wallet top-ups
Firebase (Google)Sign-in/authentication and, where enabled, push notification delivery (Firebase Cloud Messaging)
Google Maps / PlacesAddress autocomplete and map-based professional search
PostHogProduct analytics, active only after you accept cookies

5. Cookie Retention

Session cookies, such as the language cookie, are deleted when you close your browser. The referral cookie lasts up to 90 days. Local-storage entries — your theme, interface preferences, cookie-consent choice, and, if you accepted analytics, PostHog identifiers — remain on your device until you delete them or clear your browser storage.

6. No Advertising or Behavioral Tracking

Servibridge does not use:

  • Advertising cookies or behavioral tracking cookies.
  • Cross-site tracking technologies.
  • Social media tracking pixels.
  • Data brokers or advertising networks.

Our analytics are strictly for product improvement, not for targeted advertising.

7. Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no common industry standard for responding to it, so the Platform does not currently change its behavior based on that signal; your accept/decline choice in our cookie banner is the control that determines whether analytics cookies are set.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies and technologies we use or in legal requirements. We will post the updated policy here and update the "Last updated" date; where changes are material, we will also prompt you to review your cookie preferences again.

9. Contact Us

If you have questions about our use of cookies, contact us at privacy@servibridge.com or through our contact page.
