1. Who We Are and Scope of This Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Meritvance LLC, a Florida limited liability company operating Servibridge ("Servibridge," "we," "us"), collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use our website, mobile applications, and related services (the "Service"). It applies to Customers, Professionals, and visitors. It does not apply to third-party sites linked from the Service, which are governed by their own privacy policies.
By using Servibridge, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Information We Collect
Account and profile information
Name, email address, phone number, sign-in credentials (handled by Firebase Authentication; Servibridge never receives or stores your password), profile photo, business name, service categories, service-area ZIP codes, and — for Professionals — license numbers, insurance information, portfolio images, and other credentials you choose to submit.
Job requests, bookings, and messages
Details you provide about a job (category, description, service address, urgency, estimated value), booking and scheduling information, reviews and ratings, and messages exchanged with other users through the Platform.
Wallet, billing, and transaction data
Subscription tier and billing period, wallet balance and transaction/ledger history, invoices, and Lead fees charged. Card and bank details are collected and stored directly by Stripe, our payment processor — Servibridge does not store your full card number.
Location data
The ZIP codes and service areas you provide, addresses entered for search, map, or job-request features, and, where you grant permission, device-level location used with Google Maps/Places for autocomplete and map search.
Verification and security data
Two-factor authentication (TOTP) setup status, login history, device and session identifiers used for security and fraud prevention, phone-verification codes sent by SMS through Twilio, credential documents you submit for review (license numbers, insurance certificates), and — for identity checks on paid plans — the result of a verification performed by Stripe Identity. Stripe processes your government ID and selfie under its own privacy policy; Servibridge stores the outcome and a reference identifier, never the document images. Servibridge does not currently run background checks; if that option is offered, it will require your separate written authorization and will be described here first.
Reviews and reports about you
Reviews and ratings other users leave about you after a completed booking, replies you post to them, and reports other users file about your profile, reviews, or messages, which our moderation team reviews.
Communications with us
Messages you send through our contact form or to our support addresses, and any attachments or account details you include with them.
Device, usage, and cookie data
IP address, browser and device type, operating system, pages viewed, referring URLs, and similar diagnostic and analytics information, collected through cookies, local storage, and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy. Analytics data is collected only when you consent to non-essential cookies.
Push notification tokens
If you enable push notifications, we collect a device token issued by Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to deliver notifications about Leads, bookings, and account activity.
3. Sources of Information
We collect information directly from you (when you register, complete your profile, submit a job request, message another user, or contact support), automatically through your use of the Service (device, usage, and cookie data), and from third parties you connect to your account, such as Firebase (authentication), Stripe (payment status), and Google (Maps/Places autocomplete).
4. How We Use Your Information
We use personal information to:
- Operate the marketplace. Create and manage accounts, display profiles and search results, and connect Customers with Professionals.
- Match and route Leads. Generate Leads and route them to eligible Professionals using our matching and cascade logic, which considers factors such as subscription tier, category and service-area match, rating, responsiveness, fair-use limits, and rotation among eligible Professionals to keep distribution fair across tiers. This matching routes business introductions between users — it is not used to make legal or similarly significant automated decisions about you (see Section 14).
- Process payments. Bill subscriptions and Lead fees, manage wallet balances and top-ups (including optional auto-recharge), and process refunds or credits.
- Communicate with you. Send transactional messages (account, security, Lead, booking, and billing notifications) and, where you opt in, marketing communications.
- Verify and secure accounts. Support two-factor authentication, detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access, and enforce our Terms of Service.
- Improve the Service. Analyze aggregated, and where possible de-identified, usage data (via PostHog, only with your cookie consent) to understand how the Platform is used and to improve features, performance, and reliability.
- Comply with the law. Meet tax, accounting, consumer-protection, and other legal obligations, and respond to lawful requests from public authorities.
5. How We Share Information
With other users
When you send or accept a job request or Lead, we share the contact and job details necessary for the Customer and the matched Professional to communicate — never your full account or payment history, and never with Professionals who were not matched to that Lead.
With service providers (subprocessors)
We share information with vendors who process it on our behalf under agreements that restrict them to using data only to provide services to us:
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Stripe | Payment processing (subscriptions, wallet top-ups) |
| Firebase / Google Cloud | Authentication, hosting, and push notifications |
| Google Maps / Places | Location autocomplete and maps |
| Resend | Transactional email delivery |
| Cloudflare | File and photo storage (R2) |
| Twilio | SMS delivery of phone-verification codes |
| Stripe Identity | Identity checks for Professionals on paid plans (government ID processed by Stripe) |
| MongoDB Atlas | Database hosting (U.S. regions) |
| PostHog | Product analytics (only after cookie consent, see Cookie Policy) |
For legal reasons
We may disclose information to comply with a subpoena, court order, or other legal process, to protect the rights, property, or safety of Servibridge, our users, or the public, or to investigate fraud or violations of our Terms.
In a business transfer
If Servibridge is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy or a successor policy of which we will notify you.
With your consent
We may share information for any other purpose you specifically agree to.
6. We Do Not Sell Your Personal Information
Sharing a Customer's contact details with the Professional matched to their own job request is a service the Customer asks for — a directed disclosure, not a sale of personal information.
7. Customer Data Received by Professionals
When a Professional accepts a Lead, they receive the Customer's contact details and job information to respond to that request. From that point, the Professional processes those details as an independent business, outside Servibridge's systems and control.
9. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. When you close your account from your settings, it is deactivated immediately and enters a 30-day grace period during which you can restore it by signing in. After those 30 days, we permanently delete or de-identify your personal information, except where we must retain it:
| Data | Retention after account deletion |
|---|---|
| Financial and transaction records (subscriptions, Lead fees, wallet ledger) | Up to 7 years, for accounting and tax purposes |
| Records needed to investigate fraud, abuse, or legal claims | As reasonably needed for the investigation or claim |
| Security and audit logs | A limited period, to protect the integrity of the Service |
| All other personal information | Deleted or de-identified within a reasonable period |
You can download a copy of your data and close your account yourself from your account Settings. To ask us to delete data sooner than the grace period allows, contact privacy@servibridge.com.
10. Data Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption of sensitive fields at rest, encryption in transit (TLS), access controls limiting who can view personal data, audit logging of sensitive operations, and optional two-factor authentication for your account. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a security incident affecting your personal information, we will notify you and any applicable regulator as required by law.
11. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate information (most account details can be edited directly in your account settings).
- Delete your personal information.
- Export — receive a copy of your information in a portable format.
- Opt out of marketing communications at any time.
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.
You can access, export, and delete your data yourself from your account Settings. For anything else, or if you can no longer sign in, contact us at privacy@servibridge.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing your request, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law (generally within 45 days, extendable as permitted).
12. U.S. State Privacy Disclosures
If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, or another state with a comprehensive consumer privacy law, you may have additional rights, including the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising (which, as noted in Section 6, we do not perform), the right to limit use of sensitive personal information, and the right to appeal a denied request. You may exercise these rights by contacting privacy@servibridge.com; we will not charge a fee or provide a different level of service for exercising your rights.
13. International Data Transfers
Servibridge is based in, and its Service is directed to, users in the United States, and our infrastructure runs on Google Cloud Platform in U.S. regions. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.
14. Automated Matching and Profiling
Our Lead matching and cascade system uses account and profile signals (subscription tier, category and service-area match, rating, responsiveness, and rotation among eligible Professionals) to decide which Professional receives a given Lead. This process is used to route business introductions, not to determine eligibility for a legal or similarly significant service, and does not use special categories of personal information. Professionals may contact support@servibridge.com with questions about how matching affected them.
15. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from, anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 18 without appropriate consent, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact privacy@servibridge.com.
16. Third-Party Links
The Service may contain links to third-party websites, including Professional-provided links and payment pages hosted by Stripe. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.
17. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a notice on the Platform before the changes take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when this Policy was last revised.
